My daughter has a shunt placement due to hydrocephalus from spina bifida. she is five weeks old and yesterday we noticed her shunt site swelling and we rushed her to the er only for her neurosurgeon who placed it to say there was no malfunction which is wonderful, but the swelling is still there and it's still unclear why to me. She had several test done including a shunt series and a ct. Should i get a second opinion? Check Out the Answer
