Skywalky7 : Dear sir, how does sickle cell protect a person from severe malarial infection? Why is it that this is only possible for heterogenous and not for those who are sickle cell anemia (homogenous)? What's the mechanism? Thank you.

Skywalky7: In a child with liver failure and borderline increased coagulation profile but no symptomatic bleeding, if the child has fever, what options of antipyretic do we have apart form PCM since PCM is not advised or actually contraindicated?
